A continuous green spine that runs the length of the development is formed by plants and trees that are well adapted to the climate of Oman. Greenhouses are utilized in the process of growing herbs and leafy greens, and community allotments are available for residents to use for agricultural purposes.
The Garden and Courtyard Villas employ Demand Side Management strategies such as passive and active design to reduce energy consumption. The villas use less energy than any comparable unit in Oman thanks to their innovative active design.
